Office & Workplace
Workplaces have evolved over the last couple of decades to reflect the new ways in which businesses operate, the demands of delivering at pace, and the expectations of employees (existing and prospective). There is now an expectation that organisations invest in their work environments, not just to attract talent and make employees and guests feel pampered and comfortable, but also to reflect their culture and their values.
The design for lobbies, refreshment areas, meeting rooms, break-out / informal spaces, desk and workstation areas, WCs and bathrooms, cycle storage, outdoor spaces among others, has become critical to how organisations function and succeed in the twenty first century. More recently, consideration for accessibility, way-finding, gender-neutrality, multi-faith workforces has grown in prominence.
Notably, I have photographed the majority of HM Government’s Regional Centres around the UK, as well as other privately owned offices, and public-facing workplaces, such as Hello Vet’s new practices across London.
