Photographing the hospitality industry is about understanding the brief given to a designer by the venue / brand and communicating it to prospective visitors / audiences. I view my role as essential to generating an aspiration and desire among audiences to visit any given cafe, bar, pub, restaurant, club, etc. My aim is to make people feel like they want to be there.

I understand the particular demands of the sector: that lighting is often low and layered, that spaces need to read as inviting rather than empty, and that the turnaround between a project completing and photography being needed is frequently very short. I plan carefully, work quickly, and consistently deliver images that my clients are proud to put in front of their own clients.
